Brewster Hut
A mountain hut for DoC, with Structural Engineering by Derek Chin. Built offsite, disassembled, then flown into the Brewster plateau.
Designed and built for the extreme mountain environment, and the necessity to keep each component under the 1000kg lifting capacity of a chopper.
A fun project for us to be involved in, with each bolted detail and panel connection carefully considered.
